First Post of Year 2012

Reading my past entries, I can't believe that I was so fun-loving when I'm writing. I think it has something to do with my perception of the world when I was 26 and young. Everything was so rosy and bright.

But I'm so much more mature and experienced that it's difficult to sound funny again. Even my love for reading is diminishing. Used to be able to finish at least one book a week, but now it's more like a month before I return a book to the library.

The dragon year started 5 days ago. It was not a bad start, visiting my grandmother with all the relatives eating reunion dinner. And going visiting Ming Xing and her eldest sister with Johnny.

Looks like the three of us are still single at the start of 2012, even though Ming Xing had a hidden relationship last year. Johnny also had a turbulent time with his love life but I still think he has a good chance when his crush don't mind keeping in contact with him.

I guess my love life was the most boring in 2011. No progression at all. Not even a girl to chase after. But career-wise, it wasn't a bad year. Learned many new telecommunication subjects and the bonus from Singtel really boosted my savings.

Hopefully this year will be more exciting. (Lose my virginity for example... xD)
